According to Ark. Code Ann. §5-4-401, the Felony Classifications & Punishment Ranges are:

 •    Class Y Felony- 10 to 40 years, or life in prison.

 •    Class A Felony- 6 to 30 years and/or $15,000 fine.​

 •    Class B Felony- 5 to 20 years and/or $15,000 fine.​

 •    Class C Felony- 3 to 10 years and/or $10,000 fine.​

 •    Class D Felony- 0 to 6 years and/or $10,000 fine.​​

According to Ark. Code Ann. §5-4-401, the Misdemeanor Classifications & Punishment Ranges are:

 •    Class A Misdemeanor- up to 1 year jail and/or $2,500 fine.​

 •    Class B Misdemeanor- Penalty- up to 90 days jail, and/or $1,000 fine.​

 •    Class C Misdemeanor- Penalty- up to 30 days jail, and/or $500 fine.​

 •    Class Unclassified Misdemeanor- varies by offense.​​​
